How to join SPRA

Membership is open to any organisation involved in single ply roofing that can meet and maintain the standards set by the association. Every application is audited before it goes to the SPRA Council.

1

Choose your category

Membrane manufacturer, contractor, associate or distributor — whichever matches where your business sits in the supply chain.

2

Read the criteria and code of conduct

Each category publishes its own membership criteria and code of conduct. You will be asked to confirm you have read and will abide by them.

3

Gather your documents

Certification, insurance, policies and training records. The checklist below shows what is required for each category.

4

Complete the application form

You do not have to complete it in one sitting — your progress can be saved and picked up later.

5

Pay the audit fee

A non-refundable audit fee of £250 + VAT is payable before the audit process starts.

6

Your application is audited

We audit your submission against the criteria for your category. We may ask for additional documents along the way.

Audit fee

All membership applications are subject to a non-refundable audit fee of £250 + VAT, which must be paid before the audit process starts. All fees are subject to change at the discretion of the SPRA Council.
